Big Changes

Its been a while. I'm sorry for how long I've been silent, and thank you for your patience. The project got a lot more complex than I originally envisioned, and j think I'm gonna have to do the sprites from scratch, but that's not what I'm here to talk about. I'm here to talk about something meatier. Gameplay.

One of the biggest reasons I've been so slow to put out the next update is thinking about the changes I'm going to implement to gameplay itself. There are a few things I have decided on for sure, some of which I've already got implemented on my machine. There are others, however, that I'm less sure about.

Will Be Implemented:

A new combat system featuring a stun mechanic where timing your strikes against your opponent and their winding up of attacks is vital to defeating enemies stronger than you, along with several status conditions that can affect you or them such as slow or burn.

An equipment system featuring weapons that change how fast you can hit and how hard you hit, helmets that reduce how long you get stunned, chestplates that reduce your damage taken, and even more than that.

A race system where, aside from four different colors of human, there are other playable races that are unlocked by completing zones of the dungeon, and feature small boosts and reductions to various stats.

A new menu that takes the form of a campsite and nearby town. At the camp you can upgrade your skills and change your equipment before going into the dungeon. In town you can buy things with gold that enemies now drop upon defeat.

Players will be able to be masculine or feminine, and then make or female. (Yes I know gender identity is more complex than that but fuck this is a porn game not a science class) Masculinity/Femininity determines if boobs and wide hips while Male/Female determines your junk.

On the Drawing Board:

A better sex minigame oh my God the one I have right now is so shit

Some sort of companion system, possibly also involved in sex somehow

Multiple character slots and permanent upgrades to the camp that affect all of them

Brothel place to work for extra money once per run

Actual pregnancy mechanic instead of just the fertilization animation

Cutscenes (mostly cuz the overall story is still... A work in progress...)

Alright I think that's all I have to say about the project. Again, I'm so sorry this took so long. I'm still working on it, I swear, and I hope to have a product worth the time you'll spend playing it soon.
